Cascade Hollow Distillery sources this limited release from barrels laid down during a single distilling season and selected at peak maturity for a unique, complex, and bold taste.

Rumor has it George Dickel spelled his whisky as the Scots do, because he believed the spirit he was producing to be as smooth and high-quality as Scottish whisky. Take a sip and see for yourself.  We think you'll quite agree.

Tasting Notes

Starts with an inviting nose of ripe cherries, clove, and almonds. A suprisingly soft palate and an oak finish.

Production Notes

“Bottled in Bond” describes American-made distilled beverages that follow a set of legal regulations originally laid out in 1897. As a reaction to widespread adulteration in American whisky, the act guaranteed a spirit’s authenticity. These spirits must be aged in a federally bonded warehouse under U.S. government supervision for at least four years. After aging, distilleries bottle at 100 proof and label them with their name, or the name of where they were distilled and bottled, if it differs.  

Distilled at Cascade Hollow Distillery, with a history that stretches back to 1861, George Dickel whisky is one-of-a-kind.
